Dr Peng Chan has been serving our local community for over 30 years. He consults five days a week and enjoys all areas of general practice.

Dr Wayne Cooper General Practitioner

Dr Wayne Cooper MBBS (Hons) BMedSc has been in general practice in the Sans Souci region for approximately 30 years. During that time he has established strong links with the local healthcare system and many local medical specialists. Dr Cooper has experience across a broad range of general practice medicine with a particular interest in chronic disease management. Dr Cooper is a supervisor for the General Practice Training Program, and is the current President of the St George Division of General Practice. He is also the current Medical Co-ordinator for the Sans Souci Medical Practice.

Dr Byron Cottier General Practitioner

Dr Byron Cottier MBBS(UNSW) FRACGP has been working as a general practitioner in Sans Souci for the past 18 years. He has a broad range of experience across all areas of general practice.

Dr Sally Sheffield General Practitioner

Dr Sally Sheffield graduated from the University of London and has completed her Fellowship of the RACGP. She has a particular interest and several years experience in paediatrics, and has completed a diploma in children’s health from Sydney Children’s Hospital. Dr Sheffield enjoys all areas of women’s health and has completed the Family Planning National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health. Dr Sheffield participates in the antenatal shared care program with St George and Sutherland Hospitals.

Dr Arpita Das General Practitioner

Dr Arpita Das is a medical practitioner with 14 years of successful experience in Australia as a general practitioner and Resident Medical Officer. She is a Fellow of Royal Australian College Of General Practitioner with special interest in palliative care and children’s health and has has completed post graduate Diplomas in both fields. Dr Das loves the essence of General Practice which includes the whole person care and continuity of care.

Dr Toni Letton General Practitioner

Dr Toni Letton (MBBS) graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986 and has been practising as a General Practitioner since 1990. Dr Letton is a member of the Royal Australian Council of General Practitioners and has graduated from the Family Medicine Program. Her special interests include women’s health, geriatrics and paediatrician health. She enjoys tennis, cooking and walking.

Dr Linda Crighton General Practitioner

Dr Linda Crighton is a General Practitioner from the United Kingdom. She initially completed a Dentistry degree, then studied her medical degree at Edinburgh University. Dr Chrighton has worked as a GP for over 20 years and moved to Australia in 2015, working in a medical centre in the eastern suburbs. Her main interests are women’s health, antenatal shared care, chronic disease management, and preventive health. Outside work she enjoys golf, kayaking, camping and skiing.

Dr Tharuka Bodaragama General Practitioner

Dr Tharuka Bodaragama MD FRACGP has worked across practices between the Sutherland Shire and Inner West Sydney, as well as rural New South Wales. She has a special interest in urgent care, women’s health and musculoskeletal medicine, and completed the Sydney Children’s Health Program. She is registered for contraceptive insertion, and participates in the antenatal shared care program with St George and Sutherland Hospitals.

Dr Ginni Mansberg General Practitioner

Aside from her General Practice in Sydney’s Sans Souci, and supervisory role in the Discipline of General Practice at the University of Notre Dame Sydney medical school, Ginni has written five books and has worked extensively as a medical journalist and columnist. Consumer titles include Women’s Health, That’s Life and Practical Parenting Magazines as well as both Medical Observer and Australian Doctor. Ginni is an experienced TV presenter working with “Sunrise” on Channel 7 as their resident GP for many years and as the host of Embarrassing Bodies Down Under. She is also the host of Drivetime Medical, an educational podcast for primary care physicians. Ginni holds a Graduate Diploma of Journalism and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Ginni is a Non Executive Director of the Immunisation Coalition and of Abano Healthcare, runs a consulting practice and owns a cosmeceutical skincare company.

Dr Keki Mehta Skin Cancer Doctor

MBBS – 1978 MS – 1972, FICS – 1988, Member RACGP, Professional member Sports Medicine Australia, Australian College of Cutaneous Oncology, Professional member of ASI, Fellow of International College of Surgeons, Chicago, USA

Dr Mehta has worked entirely in Skin Cancer clinics for the past 10 years. He has been Club Doctor for several football clubs SANFL, Woodville West Torrens Eagles, Mount Lofty Devils, Athelstone FC, Modbury FC, and currently AFL UTS (NSW).

John Abd-Mariam Physiotherapist

John Abd-Mariam BSC (Hons) MAPA is a highly skilled Physiotherapist & Sports Specialist with over 20 years experience both in Australia & the UK. During this time, he has been responsible for hospital Physiotherapy Teams, Emergency Departments, Stroke Units, Rehabilitation Units and Geriatric Wards. He has completed Post Graduate Masters modules in Orthopedic Medicine and Elderly Rehabilitation. John’s experience covers a broad range of Physiotherapy, with a particular focus in the treatment of headaches, neck/jaw/back and shoulder pain, and chest physiotherapy. On a personal note, John holds two black belts in different martial arts. He also enjoys chess, which he has competed in at an international level.
